Biking tours on Sardinia, the way you like.
There's not just one way to go biking with Sardinia Cycling.
From full private to self guided, it's your choice. We love guiding group tours, talking about the places we visit, answering your questions with local insight, and fostering a magical group experience.
We worry about safety and logistics so you can focus on the riding experience. We do all this to ensure that at the end of your trip rather than saying "goodbye," you say "see you again soon."
We have little guided dates available.
That's because we directly operate all of our trips and you'll be 99% of the times in touch with a tour designer or a tour consultant that will later be your tour guide in Sardinia. You'll know your guide before the trip and - most important - we'll know you before we meet in person. We think this is a wonderful idea, don't you?
With the same approach we also enjoy offering self-guided tours that give you the ability to go at your own pace while still taking advantage of the information and local knowledge. Plus, if you go for a self guided tour, you can take advantage of our luggage delivery service and even share its cost with other travelers.
You get to choose your preferred type of bike and terrain. We offer options for road biking, e-road, gravel, mountain biking, e-mtb, and e-bike.

Why Our Trips are Perfect for You
Click to discover!
"Will the routes be too difficult for me?"
Response: We offer tours at different levels, from Recreational to Challenge, ensuring there’s a perfect route for every rider. Our detailed trip descriptions, along with altitude profiles and daily distances, help you choose the right level. And if you ever feel like adjusting the challenge, we’re here to help with alternative routes or e-bike options.
"What happens if I have a mechanical issue during the ride?"
Response: We provide well-maintained, high-quality bikes, and each rental includes a repair kit. If you face any major issues, our support team is just a call away. Since we are based in Sardinia, we can assist quickly and efficiently—you're never alone on the road.
"How do I know if this trip is the right fit for me?"
Response: Every tour includes a detailed itinerary, elevation profiles, and recommendations based on your cycling experience. If you need advice, just reach out—since we personally design these tours, we know exactly which one suits your riding style and expectations.
"Should I bring my own bike or rent one?"
Response: You’re welcome to bring your own bike, but our high-end rental fleet is an excellent alternative. Our bikes are fully serviced, adapted to Sardinian terrain, and save you the hassle of airline transport fees and potential damage.
"Will I enjoy the food and accommodations?"
Response: Sardinia is renowned for its hospitality, fresh Mediterranean cuisine, and boutique accommodations. We handpick every stay and recommend the best local restaurants so you can experience the island’s authentic flavors.
"What if I’m traveling solo?"
Response: Our guided tours offer a great way to meet like-minded cyclists, while our self-guided trips give you the flexibility to ride at your own pace. Either way, we ensure your journey is seamless and enjoyable.
"Why should I book with Sardinia Cycling instead of another provider?"
Response: Unlike larger tour operators, we sell direct, with no intermediaries—so you get personalized service and better value. Plus, when you’re here in Sardinia, any support you need comes directly from us—the team who designed your trip, not a third-party call center.
"I can find cheaper tours elsewhere. Why pay more?"
Response: Our pricing reflects quality, experience, and direct support. We use premium accommodations, provide meticulously planned routes, and ensure full assistance while you're here. With us, you’re not just booking a trip—you’re getting a seamless, worry-free experience designed by locals who know Sardinia inside out.
"What if I need to cancel or change my plans?"
Response: We offer flexible booking policies to accommodate unforeseen changes. Depending on when you cancel, you may receive a partial or full refund, or we can reschedule your trip. Our goal is to make planning stress-free, so just reach out if your situation changes.

Activity levels
Don't let the road decide for you!
A crucial step in choosing a tour is assessing your fitness level, deciding how much effort you want to put in during your vacation, and considering how much of your stay you’d like to dedicate to activities beyond cycling.
Sardinia Cycling has developed a simplified difficulty rating system to help you find the tour that best suits you. This system links daily distance and elevation gain, assigning each tour a specific difficulty level.
At the same time, we provide detailed information to help you make an informed choice, because making the right choice is essential for the perfect tour experience. It's so important to us that you choose the right tour that, if you have any questions, we invite you to contact us to schedule a session with one of our tour designers, available by phone or video chat.

Our hotels
At SardiniaCycling, hotels are more than just a place to sleep. How do we select them? In areas with a wide range of options, we choose the best balance between location and services tailored to cyclists.
We prioritize four-star accommodations but can arrange upgrades upon request. In smaller towns, we select the very best available.
Our philosophy is that hotels should enhance the theme of the tour or the specific day, offering unique experiences. Some are historic farmhouses, providing authentic glimpses of Sardinian life and the unforgettable flavors of homemade local dishes. All hotels are carefully selected and reviewed annually to ensure you enjoy the best possible experience during your journey with us.
